Super-8, 2025, black and white

\

The first in a series of studies of the mythology of the WSCU, featuring William Bessai-Saul as the Gentleman Farmer. Intended to be voiced by a new "Al" (the personification of the Farmer's Almanac, perpetual edition, the version screened for the One Take Super 8 Event in Regina in 2025 was narrated in a mid-Atlantic accent by William who also appears in the last third of the film. The story tells of how the hoe separated the earth from the sky and was, in part, drawn from the stories of Entil,  the Mesopotamian god of agriculture.
